Cassandra Chase is a business strategist and social entrepreneur who works to provide marginalized groups the opportunities and access they need to succeed. Through initiatives in education, leadership, and entrepreneurship she co-creates solutions that support underserved communities grow and thrive.
Born in Lakewood, Cassandra Chase founded Chase Consulting Group (CCG), a boutique business consulting firm that provides strategic management, business development, and marketing services to small businesses and non-profit organizations. She also co-founded Read Lead, an organization that empowers the next generation of leaders through literacy and leadership programs. Since its founding, Read Lead has operated in six communities in California and Washington and has distributed reading materials to students in Barbados and Jamaica.
In addition, Cassandra oversees the Empowerment Congress. The Empowerment Congress is a distinctive and deliberate national model of civic engagement built on the core principles of participatory democracy, reciprocal accountability, and intentional civility. It is a dynamic partnership among neighborhood groups, residents, nonprofit organizations, businesses, religious institutions, and community leaders.
Recognized by Nike as a Los Angeles Changemaker and a nominee for the LA Times Inspirational Women Forum Awards, Ms. Chase is known for her community efforts.
She centers wellness, community, collaboration, and connections and is on the mission to transform the landscape in the community in which she lives and works.
