Linda is the the proud granddaughter of Mexican immigrants, a mother who raised 2 children as a single parent and often worked two jobs to make ends meet, all while going to night school. She grew up working in the family business, where she acquired important social and business skills.
For over 18 years Linda produced events and concerts for blue chip clients like Ford Motor Company and Nestle where she managed a budget of millions of dollars. She went on to work in education as an Assistant Director of Admissions at the Art Institute of LA. Currently, she's an independent contractor for a seed company, managing inventory in over 100 grocery stores and garden centers.
Linda's lifetime of service includes advocating for veterans, women's rights, the unhoused, workers and the LBGTQ+ community. She and her Teamster husband Neil volunteer to deliver groceries to the homebound and many suffering from food insecurity.
Linda and Neil live in Cal Heights with their cat Bleu, enjoy gardening, hiking, and encouraging others to grow their own food.
