Biography
Dulce Vasquez is an educator, changemaker, and passionate community leader.
After many years running a non-profit organization, Dulce is now an educator, creating robust partnerships with a cross section of business, government and philanthropic organizations to promote higher education for low income and first generation students. These efforts create opportunities that uplift students, families and entire communities.
After spending half of her childhood undocumented cleaning houses with her mom, she attended Northwestern University and earned a Master’s in Public Policy from the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs.
During the pandemic, she felt compelled to serve and is now running for Los Angeles City Council to fight for a more equitable Los Angeles through housing, transit, supporting entrepreneurship, and education. You can learn more at dulcevasquez.com
