Biography
I am a third generation Covina resident. A proud product of CVUSD schools and South Hills graduate. I earned my BA at Cal Poly Pomona, MA at Cal State Los Angeles, and MBA From UC Irvine. I work as a Manager at large buisness and employer, and enjoy deep dive into spreadsheets. I also educate and train people on EVs, Fuel Cells, and the Green Energy transformation the buisness world is going through.
I know the importantance of financial oversight of tax payer funds, and have the background and experience to do just that. Bad or underpreforming investments come at the cost of Covina residents. Either in reduced services or increased taxes to make up the difference. I will strive to put the city on secure enough financial ground that we can finally end the utility sales tax.
I am the homegrown canidate with the experience needed to do the job. Please vote for Neil Polzin for Covina City Treasurer June 7th (or early by mail)

Political Beliefs
Political Philosophy
I believe in strong financial oversight and public transparency. These are vital for city finances and the Treasurer.
I believe elected officals should be accessable to the public, and list my personal cell and email listed under Extended Biography.
Finally I beleive that in order for the city to have a secure financial future, we need to divest public funds from dying and dirty industries like fossil fuels from the cities. We are facing down the worst drought in 1200 years, climate change is real and here. Divestment is not just the financially responsible thing to do, it is also a moral imparitive.
